Twilight Dragons Bounty Hunter's Guild

History

The Twilight Dragons were founded by Signe Fay'lion, a successful human bounty hunter. The organization was founded 10 years after the final battle at Endor which saw the final demise of the Galatic Empire. In the 10 years since it's founding the organization has grown to be a respected one in the underworld with it's own vast array of contacts and circles of influence.

The Guild mind's its own business, and stays out of affairs of state. Politics complicate things: all that matters is money, credits in your pocket.

Base of Operations

The main base of operations for the organization is on the small rocky moon of the planet Y'annis in the Outer Rim Territories. However, the guild has a number of smaller bases, and points of contacts throughout the less reputable parts of the galaxy. Some of the bigger hubs are located on the lower levels of Coruscant and Nar Shadda.

The main base (known as the Lair) is a sprawling complex which contains everything a bounty hunter or mercenary might need. Sleeping quarters for members and visitors alike, medical facilities, training areas, and everything a Hunter needs to restock their arsenal and equipment and fix up their mechanical equipment, from droids to ships.

Operational Set-Up

Signe Fay'lion is the undisputed leader of the Twilight Dragons. She is formidable herself, but is always accompanies by her defel (wraith) bodyguard. She has no lieutenant to speak of, her bodyguard coming as close to anyone she trusts. Below her is a council of older, experienced bounty hunters, most of which are retired, or semi-retired from the hunt. They serve as her council, as well as mentor's and instructors to the younger hunters. They also help to enforce Guild law accordingly.

The best current bounty hunters rank below the Council. All are the best the guild has to offer in regaurds to hunting skills. Hunters below them are ranked according to skill in a descending fashion. Skill determined by a number of factors, from the difficulty of their hunts, grand total of credits awarded during their careers, and their street cred.

Mechanics, medic's and other non combatants rank below hunters, regaurdless of rank.

Membership

Membership is fairly easily gained. To apply to be a member a hunter (or would be hunter) must fit into one of two categories in order to be considered: a) an active bounty hunter, b) one who wishes to become a bounty hunter. Would-be hunters must pass a physical exam as well as a short written test in order to be considered. If they satisfactorily complete those then they get an audience with the Mistress, Lady Fay - Signe Fay'lion. She has final say on who is and is not accepted into the guild. If she approves of the candidate then they are accepted, if not then they are sent on their way (generally with orders not to contact the guild again).

Benefits

Benefits of the guild are as follows:

  • the guild acts as a third party entity acting as a liason between guild (and for a fee) non guild hunters and their employers, making it easier to find contracts
  • hunters receive free medical treatment, and repairs
  • access to the guilds extensive information network and contacts
  • safety in numbers, some protection is offered against enemies made in the course of work

However, in order to keep their benefits and their membership in the guild all members must follow a set of rules.

Rules

  • Hunters do not recruit guild members
  • Hunters obey the chain of command, Lady Fay's word is FINAL.
  • Hunters maintain amiable terms with other guild hunters, killing another guild hunter is punishable by death
  • Maintaining business integrity – not doublecrossing employers or selling out, fulfilling contracts to the letter
  • Do not exploit guild resources
  • Remain Loyal to the Guild. Disloyalty is punishable by death.

Non-members

The guild also does business with non-members. Mostly they act as a third party to unite employers with hunters. While guild members get this service for free, non member hunters and employers must pay a non refundable fee of 15% of the total bounty. They may also use guild facilities, for a fee... and under strict watch.
