Character Creation

Here at the Star Wars Chicks RPG, we have a few very simple rules about the sort of characters that we accept, but these tend to be the ones that are broken most often. Please read the information below before proceeding.

Basic Guidelines

Characters concepts must be reasonable and fair. Try to recognize the limits of lifespan, age, money, and luck. Characters with outrageous knowledge, ability, or power will be rejected.

Select a character archetype fit to your knowledge base. If you know little about the Force, don't attempt to play a Jedi Master. Make sure you understand your character's perspective and duties.

You can make up species and home planets, but be prepared to offer a full description of the species and some basic information about the planet. Made-up species may be rejected due to special powers or abilities.

Characters should fit reasonably into a Star Wars setting. No crossover characters from other universes will be allowed, and characters or made-up races that obviously resemble those from another science fiction or fantasy fandom will be rejected.

Rules

You must create an original character. No one can play any of the characters established in Star Wars films, novels, comics, cartoons, short stories, or video games. It is also recommended that they not be an exact copy of a Star Wars character with a different name.

No one may play the friend, former lover, relative, or student of the characters established in Star Wars films, novels, comics, cartoons, short stories, or video games. We discourage almost all character concepts that tie themselves to these established characters.

Force adept characters will use either the Darkside or the Lightside of the Force. We do not recognize the existence of Grey or Shadow Jedi, who are able to use both sides simultaneously or switch at will. We do, however, accept the concept of "Fallen Jedi," who were once of the Lightside and were tempted over to the Darkside.

The species known as the Yuuzhan Vong are not allowed in this game.
