Wow! Long time since I have last been here, but that was one of the best articles I have read in a long time.

I agree that female fans have all too often been ignored, and I still get the ‘you’re a Star Wars fan?! I thought it was only for boys.’ when I tell people.

It really annoys me. I mean, I know at least… er… 30 female sw fans that I have met. Many are my close friends from little Denmark, and I know through fora of a whole lot more.

I think they have gotten better at remembering the female fans. They do come up with more merchandise that are meant to appeal to females, and many females are making themselves heard and known in fan communities.
After all, we often do things all the way when we dedicate ourselves to something. I know I do. I might have been my brother, who introduced me to sw, but once I found my own source of info(you gotta love the web) I quickly gave him tail. Nowadays he ask me about everything, ’cause he knows I’m the family expert.

(And yes; I’d take Ewan, Liam and Ray over Leo any day).
