book cover
Story -- bad guy kidnaps Leia and takes her to the backwater world of Nam Chorios. Luke is chasing after lost love Callista and ends up on the same planet (what a coincidence!), where using the Force has terrible consequences. But there's something even more horrible there, something out for galactic domination (isn't that always the way!).

Original characters from the movies -- not convincing. Just don't seem to ring true with me. Especially the droids.

New characters -- baddies are totally gross! Callista's still kicking around, still a bit pathetic. I wish she'd either go back to Luke or stop teasing him! And Daala shows up in a brief cameo.

Cover art -- still no sign of anyone aging. But, hey, this is Star Wars, and that bacta is good stuff!

Chicks -- Leia's got a few good bits. Callista could do with a life. Female baddie (Taselda) is completely disgusting!

Any good? -- not especially gripping, but might appeal to horror fans (it's not that scary, honest).

Read it? -- ONLY if bugs and beasties don't bother you. Insectophobes, don't even go here.

Rating -- 5 out of 10
