Movie characters -- Qui and Obi are good. Yoda puts in a brief appearance, but it was Adi Gallia that fascinated me. Can't say a lot about her characterisation, tho' - until Ep. II is released, anyway.
New characters -- Adi Gallia's apprentice, Siri. And she's great. :)
Cover art -- Obi and Siri, and some scary, floaty droid things. It's terrific to see a girl in Jedi uniform.
Chicks -- Siri is only 11 years old (2 years younger than Obi), yet she is a "skilled, graceful fighter" - I didn't warm to her immediately, but she's still a great character. And it's nice to see Adi's personality filled out a little.
Any good? -- more exciting than JA8, but with a couple of major 'plot devices' which made the story a little awkward. And a bit more about life for the very young Jedi at the Temple - interesting!
Read it? -- not the best, but not the worst. And it bodes - boy, does it bode!
Rating -- 7 out of 10 (as a kid's book)
