Story -- set a couple of weeks after book 5, Obi-Wan is still on Melida/Daan, having forsaken his Jedi training. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon heads back to Coruscant where all is not as it seems in the Jedi Temple.

Movie characters -- not just our fave master and padawan, but Yoda gets more than just a couple of lines! Yay! And even Mace gets a role.

New characters -- Cerasi and Nield are back from JA5, as well as Tahl (the Jedi the guys rescued). Bruck (from JA1) shows up, and an extremely irritating droid called TooJay.

Cover art -- Obi and Nield, and an unconvincing-looking red ship.

Chicks -- Cerasi is still great. Tahl is now blind, but her courage and tenacity inspire everyone she meets.

Any good? -- yeah, not bad at all. Now that Obi and Qui have split up, we get two story threads rather than the usual one! There's also some very interesting stuff about the Jedi Temple itself.

Read it? -- why not?

Rating -- 7 out of 10  (as a kid's book)
