Born in Long Beach, California, Kathy lives in SW Montana with husband (Mark) and son (Matthew). She holds degrees in Microbiology and Elementary Education from Montana State University. An accomplished musician, she has recorded albums with her husband, Mark, and she plays the flute. Her hobbies include gardening, bicycling, and skiing.
